The world is highly anticipating the arrival of Half-life 3, or more specifically Half-life 2: Episode 3. Valve is doing the usual fare of keeping their mouths shut and leakage to a stand still. So far the main details are vague and referenced through little bits of easter eggs, propped up websites by Valve, and a few concept art drawings.
There are rumors of sign language being added to gameplay (well that part isn’t a rumor, but how they’re implemented is), as far as I can tell it’ll be used to communicate with other NPCs during gameplay (combat more specifically).
For now everyone is stuck beating the Half-life series for the 75th time. It’d be nice if more time was spent on getting half-life 3 out and about rather than another Left for Dead game (or atleast let me play as a zombie offline!), But hey, I’m not complaining! I still have to hand it to them for probably the best deal in gaming; The Orange Box
